Things Guests Ask Before Booking
-
Most of our treks suit anyone who can walk five to seven hours a day with a daypack. Routes range from moderate valley walks to challenging high passes, and every trip page states its difficulty honestly so you can choose with confidence.
-
Autumn, from late September to November, has the most stable weather and the clearest mountain views of the year. Spring, from March to May, turns the hillsides red with rhododendron and is the second classic window.
-
In the best available mountain lodges along each route, chosen by our team for comfort and location, with full board while you trek. In Kathmandu you stay in a quality hotel before and after the mountains.
-
Acclimatization days are built into every high route, and your guide monitors the group daily. We pace the climbs properly rather than racing the itinerary, which is how our family has always kept guests safe up high.
-
Yes. Every route can run as a private departure on your dates, and we plan custom itineraries from scratch around your pace and interests. Tell us what you have in mind and we will build it.
-
Licensed Sherpa guides, porters, permits, lodge accommodation and meals on trek are covered. Each trip page lists inclusions in full, along with the few things that are not, such as international flights and insurance.
